Interact 7640: South Jersey Students Volunteered in Santo Domingo

Interact is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young people ages 14-18, which gives young people an opportunity to participate in fun, meaningful service projects while developing leadership skills and the opportunity to meet new friends. Through service activities, Interactors learn the importance of: • Developing leadership skills and personal integrity; • Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others; and • Advancing international understanding and goodwill.

South Jersey Students Volunteered in Santo Domingo

In March 2011, Interact Club members from South Jersey (District 7640) visited the Armando Rosenberg Home and School in Santo Domingo to volunteer for several projects supporting the ongoing maintenance of the home of several hundred kids. Several Rotary Clubs from the South Jersey support the orphanage on an ongoing basis.
